How it works
一连 stresses that something went on for a run of days, times or units without a break. It must be followed by a quantity: 一连三天, 一连问了几遍.
Examples
一连下了三天雨。
Yìlián xià le sān tiān yǔ.
It rained for three days straight.
他一连问了好几个问题。
Tā yìlián wèn le hǎo jǐ gè wèntí.
He asked several questions one after another.
