无非 — nothing more than

How it works
无非 plays something down: "it's nothing but…, no more than…". It often closes with 罢了 or 而已 to reinforce the dismissal.
Examples
他说的无非是些客气话。
Tā shuō de wúfēi shì xiē kèqi huà.
What he said was nothing but polite talk.
我无非想帮帮你而已。
Wǒ wúfēi xiǎng bāngbang nǐ éryǐ.
I only wanted to help you, that's all.
