说到哪儿去了 — you've got quite the wrong idea

( ) can be left out · other words may come before, between and after
How it works
A fixed reply correcting someone who has misread your meaning — often used to brush off unnecessary thanks or an apology. It is warm rather than sharp: "don't be silly, that's not it at all".
Examples
你说到哪儿去了，我不是那个意思。
Nǐ shuō dào nǎr qù le, wǒ bú shì nàge yìsi.
You've got me quite wrong — that's not what I meant.
谢什么呀，你想到哪儿去了。
Xiè shénme ya, nǐ xiǎng dào nǎr qù le.
No need to thank me — don't be silly.
