How it works
就算…也… (or 就是…也…) grants a hypothetical extreme and says the result still stands — "even if …, still …". It is the colloquial counterpart of 即使…也….
Examples
就算下雨，我也要去。
Jiùsuàn xià yǔ, wǒ yě yào qù.
Even if it rains, I'm still going.
就是再忙，他也会陪孩子。
Jiùshì zài máng, tā yě huì péi háizi.
No matter how busy, he'll still spend time with his kids.
就算失败了，也是一次经验。
Jiùsuàn shībài le, yě shì yí cì jīngyàn.
Even if it fails, it's still an experience.
