How it works
Adverbial 尽 (jǐn) pushes something to its limit: 尽早 "as early as possible", 尽快 "as soon as possible". Before a position word it means "the very…": 尽里头 "right at the inside". Do not confuse it with the verb 尽 (jìn) "to exhaust".
