How it works
何必 is a rhetorical question meaning "there is no need to…". It expects no answer — it advises against the action. A final 呢 is usual.
Examples
这么近，何必打车呢？

何必为这点儿小事生气？
Hébì wèi zhè diǎnr xiǎoshì shēngqì?
