跟…相比
跟…相比 — compared with …, and the bare-margin comparison

( ) can be left out · other words may come before, between and after
How it works
跟⋯⋯相比 sets an explicit yardstick at the head of the sentence — 跟上次考试相比,这次没有那么难. The second frame drops 比 altogether and puts the margin straight after the adjective: 她高我五厘米 "she is five centimetres taller than me", 姐姐大我十岁. That one is compact and very common in speech, and learners tend to over-use 比 where it would do.
