How it works
比 compares two things: "A 比 B + adjective" means A is more [adjective] than B. Do not add 很 before the adjective in this pattern.
Examples
我比他高。
Wǒ bǐ tā gāo.
I'm taller than him.
今天比昨天热。
Jīntiān bǐ zuótiān rè.
Today is hotter than yesterday.
