How it works
对 marks the person or thing an action or feeling is directed at — "to", "toward", "about". It comes before the verb, as in 对我说 (say to me) or 对…感兴趣 (be interested in …).
Examples
他对我说谢谢。
Tā duì wǒ shuō xièxie.
He said thank you to me.
我对中国文化很感兴趣。
Wǒ duì Zhōngguó wénhuà hěn gǎn xìngqù.
I'm very interested in Chinese culture.
喝茶对身体好。
Hē chá duì shēntǐ hǎo.
Drinking tea is good for your health.
