How it works
Frames the following statement from a particular person's or group's point of view. It typically opens the sentence and means 'as far as X is concerned'; use 对 with a person, not 对于 alone, in this fixed frame.
Examples
对我来说，健康最重要。
Duì wǒ lái shuō, jiànkāng zuì zhòngyào.
For me, health matters most.
对学生来说，这本书有点难。
Duì xuésheng lái shuō, zhè běn shū yǒudiǎn nán.
For students, this book is a bit difficult.
