How it works
得 after a verb introduces a comment on how the action is done — how well, how fast, and so on. The description follows 得.
Examples
他跑得很快。
Tā pǎo de hěn kuài.
He runs fast.
你说得很好。
Nǐ shuō de hěn hǎo.
You speak very well.
