How it works
再 marks a repeat that has not happened yet — "again" for future actions (unlike 又 for repeats that already happened). It can also mean "and then", doing one thing only after another is finished.
Examples
请再说一遍。
Qǐng zài shuō yí biàn.
Please say it again.
我们下次再聊。
Wǒmen xiàcì zài liáo.
Let's talk again next time.
你吃完饭再走吧。
Nǐ chī wán fàn zài zǒu ba.
Leave after you finish eating.
