How it works
越来越 means a quality or feeling increases over time — "more and more (adj.)." It attaches to an adjective or a mental/state verb; you don't add a degree adverb like 很 in front of the adjective.
Examples
天气越来越冷了。
Tiānqì yuèláiyuè lěng le.
The weather is getting colder and colder.
他的汉语越来越好。
Tā de Hànyǔ yuèláiyuè hǎo.
His Chinese is getting better and better.
