How it works
万万 is an emphatic "absolutely, by any means", and it is almost always negative: 万万不可 "must on no account", 万万没想到 "never in a thousand years expected".
Examples
这种事万万不可再发生。
Zhè zhǒng shì wànwàn bùkě zài fāshēng.
This must on no account happen again.
我万万没想到会是他。
Wǒ wànwàn méi xiǎngdào huì shì tā.
I never dreamed it would be him.
