说不定

说不定 — maybe / perhaps

Pattern

+
+ +
( ) can be left out · other words may come before, between and after

How it works

说不定 means the speaker isn't sure but thinks it quite possible — "maybe", "perhaps", "it could well be that". It can open the sentence or sit before the verb, often with a hopeful or speculative tone.

Examples
