How it works
顺着 marks a path followed in its own direction — along a road, a river, a wall. The phrase goes before the verb. Compare 沿着, which is nearly identical but slightly more formal; 顺着 adds the sense of going *with* the natural line rather than merely beside it.
Examples
顺着这条路一直走。
Shùnzhe zhè tiáo lù yìzhí zǒu.
Go straight along this road.
泪水顺着脸颊流下来。
Lèishuǐ shùnzhe liǎnjiá liú xiàlái.
