让/叫你X你就X
让/叫你X你就X — just do as you're told
Pattern
+ + + +
( ) can be left out · other words may come before, between and after
How it works
让你X你就X tells someone to simply do what they're told without arguing — "just X when you're told to". The causative 让/叫 sets the instruction and 你就X repeats the verb as the expected compliance.
