How it works
This frame builds from an extreme case marked by 连…也/都… to something even more so — "even A …, so B all the more …". The 连 clause sets a strong baseline and 更 pushes further.
Examples
连大人都提不动，孩子就更别想了。
Lián dàrén dōu tí bu dòng, háizi jiù gèng bié xiǎng le.
Even an adult can't lift it, so a child all the more can't.
连本地人都常常迷路，游客就更容易走错了。
Lián běndìrén dōu chángcháng mílù, yóukè jiù gèng róngyì zǒucuò le.
Even locals often get lost, so tourists are all the more likely to go the wrong way.
连老师也觉得难，学生就更觉得难了。
Lián lǎoshī yě juéde nán, xuésheng jiù gèng juéde nán le.
Even the teacher finds it hard, so the students find it even harder.
