How it works
就 can also stress that something is exactly the case — "precisely", "just", "the very one". Here 就 highlights the word right after it instead of linking two events.
Examples
我就是老师。
Wǒ jiù shì lǎoshī.
I am the teacher (that very person).
他就在这儿。
Tā jiù zài zhèr.
He's right here.
我就要这个。
Wǒ jiù yào zhège.
This is exactly the one I want.
