既然…就… — since (given that)

How it works
Introduces a fact already known or agreed on (A) and draws a natural conclusion or suggestion from it (B). Unlike 因为, which explains a cause, 既然 treats the premise as settled and reasons forward from it, so it often carries a tone of 'given that this is the case, then...'.
Examples
既然你不舒服，就早点休息吧。
Jìrán nǐ bù shūfu, jiù zǎodiǎn xiūxi ba.
Since you're not feeling well, get some rest early.
既然大家都同意，我们就这么决定了。
Jìrán dàjiā dōu tóngyì, wǒmen jiù zhème juédìng le.
Since everyone agrees, let's decide it this way.
