如果…就 — if…then

How it works
如果…就 states a condition and its result: "if A, then B." 如果 opens the condition and 就 introduces the result clause before its verb. 如果 is often followed by 的话 at the end of the condition, and in speech 如果 can be dropped.
Examples
如果明天下雨，我就不去了。
Rúguǒ míngtiān xià yǔ, wǒ jiù bú qù le.
If it rains tomorrow, I won't go.
如果你累了，就早点儿休息。
Rúguǒ nǐ lèi le, jiù zǎo diǎnr xiūxi.
If you're tired, rest a bit earlier.
