不知⋯⋯好 — not know what would be best

How it works
不知…好 puts a question word inside the frame to say the speaker cannot decide which option is best: 不知说什么好 "didn't know what to say". The final 好 means "would be the right thing", and 才 often precedes it.
Examples
我不知说什么好。
Wǒ bù zhī shuō shénme hǎo.
I didn't know what to say.
他不知怎么办才好。
Tā bù zhī zěnme bàn cái hǎo.
He had no idea what to do for the best.
