How it works
Beyond disposal, 把 can express causing a change of state in someone — often an emotion or exhaustion — 把我累坏了 (wore me out), 把她逗笑了 (made her laugh). The complement after the verb shows the resulting state.
Examples
这件事把我累坏了。
Zhè jiàn shì bǎ wǒ lèi huài le.
This matter wore me out.
他的话把大家逗笑了。
Tā de huà bǎ dàjiā dòu xiào le.
His words made everyone laugh.
这个消息把她高兴坏了。
Zhège xiāoxi bǎ tā gāoxìng huài le.
This news thrilled her to bits.
