How it works
Building on V来V去 (doing something repeatedly), this frame adds a 都是/就是 conclusion — after all the going back and forth, it comes down to the same thing. It stresses that much effort led to one unchanged result.
Examples
想来想去，还是觉得他说得对。
Xiǎng lái xiǎng qù, háishi juéde tā shuō de duì.
After thinking it over and over, I still feel he's right.
挑来挑去，最后买的就是最普通的那件。
Tiāo lái tiāo qù, zuìhòu mǎi de jiù shì zuì pǔtōng de nà jiàn.
After all that picking, what I bought was the plainest one.
说来说去，都是钱的问题。
Shuō lái shuō qù, dōu shì qián de wèntí.
When all is said and done, it all comes down to money.
