时间词

Time words come before the verb

Pattern

+ +
+ +
( ) can be left out · other words may come before, between and after

How it works

A time word saying when something happens goes before the verb — either right after the subject or at the very start of the sentence — never after the verb.

Examples

我明天去学校。
Wǒ míngtiān qù xuéxiào.
I'll go to school tomorrow.
他每天早上跑步。
Tā měitiān zǎoshang pǎobù.
He runs every morning.
昨天我们去了公园。
Zuótiān wǒmen qù le gōngyuán.
Yesterday we went to the park.
