How it works
将 is the formal, written-style equivalent of the disposal 把: it moves the object in front of the verb to say what is done to it. Its register is literary; in speech 把 is used instead. (将 separately also works as an adverb "about to.")
Examples
请将手机调成静音。
Qǐng jiāng shǒujī tiáo chéng jìngyīn.
Please set your phone to silent.
我们将计划做了一些调整。
Wǒmen jiāng jìhuà zuò le yìxiē tiáozhěng.
We made some adjustments to the plan.
