How it works
Paired 或是…或是… lists two or more alternatives among which either will do: "either A or B." It presents choices in a statement (not a question); to offer a choice in a question, 还是 is used instead.
Examples
或是坐火车，或是坐飞机，你自己决定。
Huòshì zuò huǒchē, huòshì zuò fēijī, nǐ zìjǐ juédìng.
Either take the train or take the plane — you decide.
周末或是在家看书，或是出去走走，都很好。
Zhōumò huòshì zài jiā kànshū, huòshì chūqu zǒuzou, dōu hěn hǎo.
On weekends, either reading at home or going out for a stroll is fine.
